Today, CSIzzy's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. After 30 minutes, Ballzotas's K. Jennekens made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. X. Mayorga made a superb strike after 34 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. After 35 minutes, M. Aaltola sent the corner kick right to W. Salas who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 2! A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by I. Estrader. At last, CSIzzy's D. Romo was able to backheel the ball in. 1 - 2. After 42 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave N. Wienecke a chance to increase the lead for Ballzotas, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Ballzotas claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

After 52 minutes, Ballzotas's N. Wienecke burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ballzotas lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The home crowd were delighted when J. Sánchez scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 2 - 4. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! CSIzzy's D. Lara got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 3 - 4. CSIzzy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

X. Mayorga performed admirably for CSIzzy. On the other hand, D. Romo's play was disheartening. Most important Ballzotas player was V. Dzindulis. O. Weisser was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 4.
