Clouds darkened the skies at
Hattori Hanzo Arena as 12000 spectators turned up for the match.
Francesco Pellegrini was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Javier Eduardo Grabarnik and
Riccardo Barbiroli.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Chubu derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
Hofuso decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
They fielded: 池田 (Ikeda) - 後藤 (Goto), 織田 (Oda), 安達 (Adachi) - 西村 (Nishimura), 杉浦 (Sugiura), Bahl, Fabsics - Ibárrola, Blaak, 小畑 (Obata).
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for *teddy*.
Lineup: Leroy - Koloper, Albicker, 安藤 (Ando) - Cartanyà, Häivä, Gorecki, 田中 (Tanaka) - Cho, 堀 (Hori), 佐々木 (Sasaki).
*teddy* mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
*teddy* were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
The visiting
S. Cho was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 3 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
Hofuso had to make a substitution after 11 minutes.
多. 杉浦 (Sugiura) limped off the field and was replaced by

After 33 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
啓. 田中 (Tanaka) a chance to increase the lead for *teddy*, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2.
With 34 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
S. Albicker of *teddy* to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3.
陸. 堀 (Hori) increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4.
After 37 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
陸. 堀 (Hori) who increased *teddy*'s lead to 0 - 5.
The players of *teddy* now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
0 - 5 was the score after the first half.
*teddy* had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
With 73 minutes on the clock,
F. Bahl surprised the guests' goalkeeper with a snappy free kick, which reduced their lead to 1 - 5.
After 80 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
R. Gorecki to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 6.
T. Fabsics tried to get a goal back for Hofuso but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
S. Cho would have put *teddy* up another goal 83 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
*teddy* claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
F. Bahl performed admirably for Hofuso.
竜. 池田 (Ikeda) turned in a dismal performance, however.
The most dominating *teddy* player was without a doubt

A. Häivä on the other hand, had a terrible day.
