Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 24370 to Universe Arena. Juha Pelonen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Luca Ilari and Maximilian Stoll. Gradoń after 12 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1. 26 minutes in, Łamagi's F. Marciniak received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, R. Seipelt got himself booked. The manager of Kosmici was not happy. Kosmici could have put themselves ahead after 40 minutes but M. Čeko missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Łamagi, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

After 51 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Łamagi was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. 62 minutes into the match, Łamagi nearly took the lead, as O. Soracipá broke through on the right. M. Reese made the save, however. Kosmici were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, K. Świętosławski scored for Kosmici putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 69 minutes. Łamagi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

The most dominating Kosmici player was without a doubt M. Barreca. P. Rzekiecki turned in a dismal performance, however. Łamagi's best player was J. Mertlík. L. Milkov was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
