A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of FatBoys to 2 - 0 as U. Hasan finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. At this point, it was obvious that the players of FatBoys lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 30 minutes played, FatBoys put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to U. Hasan, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. This third goal completed a hattrick for U. Hasan. 33 minutes into the match, the speedy U. Hasan easily outpaced N. Mijares, chipped the keeper and made the score 4 - 0. 36 minutes into the game, Hongkong's attack got through on the right, but H. Sprunck couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Halftime score was 4 - 0. FatBoys claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

After 62 minutes, S. Hmoud put FatBoys ahead 5 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. A bit later, Hongkong's N. Mijares easily reduced the lead to 5 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Hongkong needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 65 minutes C. Svantesson made way for S. Sayegh. FatBoys's H. Kavruk saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 76 minutes. H. Sprunck of Hongkong received a yellow card after 79 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The FatBoys players could smell victory in the air. U. Hasan wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Rzepka after 80 minutes. FatBoys's H. Kavruk struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 6 - 1 after 84 minutes. G. Klaja showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for Hongkong after 86 minutes to make the score 6 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to FatBoys, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Most important FatBoys player was N. Salas. M. Majamaa was a disappointment, however. G. Klaja performed admirably for Hongkong. S. Sayegh turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 6 - 2.
