(373882066)

15-04-2012 16.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 44719 at
The Red Castle today.
Salvatore Atmani was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Hugo Eckernförde and
Raul Prodan.
People from all over
København had joined up for the derby.
Bryggen decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Matussin - Clark, Gravesen, Huttinger - Reh, Raun, Čapljić, Malle, Małecki - Knudsen, Ruzau.
REAKTOR started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Zarbo - Chiodini, Kolly, Kamperis - Ospina, Møller Nielsen, Meisner, Bendt, Castaldo - Casoni, Soto.
After 16 minutes, REAKTOR's
T. Kamperis made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
Bryggen put pressure on the visitors' central defence 20 minutes into the game, but
A. Ruzau couldn't find an opening.
30 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by
M. Casoni from
C. Ospina's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for REAKTOR, making the score 0 - 2.
After this, you could see that the players of REAKTOR were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
M. Casoni could have put his team up another goal 37 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post.
Bryggen refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle,
A. Huttinger managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 2.
Halftime score was 1 - 2.
REAKTOR had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.
In a well-rehearsed move, Bryggen delivered a free kick into the box which
T. Gravesen, soaring majestically above the defence, rose to head home to make the score 2 - 2.
The coach of REAKTOR wanted to try to change things around after 73 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions.
A well placed corner kick from
T. Kamperis was followed by
S. Castaldo's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for REAKTOR, the score now 2 - 3.
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
T. Bendt was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 79 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
The REAKTOR players could smell victory in the air.
N. Møller Nielsen wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
J. Halgren after 80 minutes.
83 minutes in, and Bryggen were able to score the equalising goal to make it 3 - 3 when
A. Ruzau picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
Most important Bryggen player was
J. Raun.
M. Małecki turned in a dismal performance, however.
REAKTOR's best player was
J. Soto.
C. Ospina was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 3 - 3.
