Brüggen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 19 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Galiano. StiffChamps's K. Lennartz got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 2. K. Lennartz challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 70 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from E. Karakurt after 75 minutes, and prevented Galiano from going up another goal. 76 minutes into the game, Galiano were awarded a penalty and H. Brüggen was able to increase the visitors' lead to 2 - 5 rolling the ball in by the right post. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for H. Brüggen. Possession in this half belonged to Galiano, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

U. Ingemann performed admirably for StiffChamps. However, Y. Maas made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Galiano player was without a doubt H. Brüggen. J. Bavelaar was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 5.
