Due to an all-day shower, 27511 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Kingsfield Road. Elmir Allahverdiyev was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paulo Silva and Torquato Scrobe. Tinga started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. Plantinga went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. The home keeper was stunned 36 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by C. Aspenskog and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 2. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to DJKISS, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Tinga refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, B. Koral managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 2. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 58 minutes, Tinga did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, P. Arnaoutidis was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 2. After 63 minutes, Tinga sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached S. Schrier, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 3 - 2. The DJKISS coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. The bench was restless, and with 64 minutes passed DJKISS's coach gave J. Tintorer the opportunity the player had been hoping for. P. Bognetti reluctantly left the field. DJKISS's M. Marincola had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 78 minutes having been played. J. de Hinojosa was the replacement. I. Peipponen could have put Tinga up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 85 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tinga, with 51 percent of the ball.

Tinga's top performer was clearly S. Schrier. A. Plantinga turned in a dismal performance, however. I. Goor performed admirably for DJKISS. On the other hand, J. Tintorer's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
