Bruijnes made an attempt at equalising 14 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. With 28 minutes played, Bazzeman's M. Hanko found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Bazzeman had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Bazzeman's J. Graaff was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 65 minutes. A. After 82 minutes, TuuTsJes's M. Kornelis burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. 85 minutes in, TuuTsJes's M. Ahopelto received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Bazzeman had a brilliant opportunity to reply as A. Pyykkö received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air.
