4000 fans braved the pouring rain at Smolarek Stadion. Sammy Köhle was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joachim Friedrich Puta and Mathias Glandorp. Kwidama had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Oosterwaal - Waslander, Kruiskamp, Oster, Adriaans - Sulkers, Delahaije, Waterlander, Fieggen - van 't Hoff, Eken.

L33DS started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Núñez - Jorge, Alberts, Ekhart - Pereira Mesquita, Éstoa, Acarkan, Láiz, Ußlar - Holzhausen, Bols.

L33DS seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 6 minutes, L33DS did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, R. Láiz was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1. After 24 minutes L33DS's R. Jorge had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. W. Verbeek came in to replace him. L33DS's L. Bols was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 25 minutes. H. Acarkan received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 27 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. After 28 minutes of play, D. Sulkers equalised for Kwidama after an elegant attack from the right. Kwidama broke through on the left 31 minutes into the game, with S. Eken firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. After 32 minutes D. van 't Hoff made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to S. Eken who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 3 - 1. Kwidama mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 36 minutes, but S. Eken was unable to convert from short range. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by L33DS, with 56 percent of the ball.

The home team's fans were upset when, after 50 minutes, the visiting M. Holzhausen broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 2 was the score. Kwidama's F. Delahaije increased the lead to 4 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 62 minutes. L33DS were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The crowd roared its approval when T. Oosterwaal somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by L33DS's O. Éstoa 70 minutes into the game. With 72 minutes played, J. Alberts had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. L33DS had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

The most dominating Kwidama player was without a doubt E. Kruiskamp. D. van 't Hoff was a disappointment, however. L. Bols performed admirably for L33DS. W. Verbeek turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
