Moed could have increased the lead after 25 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Šaula got himself booked. The manager of DmanD was not happy. S. Berkhout's lack of experience almost gave Topranje a goal after 31 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Topranje's T. Deubler had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 39 minutes having been played. B. Hueting was the replacement. The home side's J. Imbach came close to extending the lead 40 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but B. Hueting managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Halftime score was 2 - 1. DmanD had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

The Topranje players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. Topranje needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes J. Krucan made way for G. Landes. DmanD's A. Haringa saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 53 minutes.
