(375607681)

04-03-2012 22.40
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 48858 to
La Revolución.
Dietmar Aschmann was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Geppino Maioli and
Mercé Ribera.
Bastardos started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Price - Amperiadis, Cubas, Briones - Langberg, Hernández, de Roock, Tellerias, Beecher - Herboso, López.
A 4-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for IngEléctro.
The following players had been chosen: Elwertowski - Nemeth, Pujadas, Hainzl, Syvertsen - Nowacki, Mihai, Papança, Mencucci, Tamara - Safiulin.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
F. López found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
The IngEléctro free kick 19 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
M. Pujadas, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 1!
30 minutes into the game,
M. Pujadas had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
C. Bobeicã.
With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 37 minutes played,
V. Cubas of Bastardos made the score 1 - 1.
1 - 1 was the halftime score.
IngEléctro had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
With 56 minutes played, IngEléctro's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
J. Hainzl he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 2.
Bastardos needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes
M. Amperiadis made way for
J. Bueno.
The Bastardos captaincy was handed to
J. Bueno.
After 77 minutes of play,
V. Cubas evened things up for Bastardos with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 2 - 2.
The intense heat forced
F. Nemeth into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by IngEléctro, with 57 percent of the ball.
Bastardos's best player was
F. López.
Q. Beecher was a disappointment, however.
IngEléctro's top performer was clearly
G. Mencucci.
F. Nemeth turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
