30274 spectators had found their way to Belloto Arena, despite the heavy rain. Albert Eichin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bret Rameder and Dimitri Lill. Belloto decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Lineup: Aldea - Křičenský, Beilin, Darricades, Aelaerts - Iršič, Lubaś, Mon, Rîşchitoru - Bielsa, Garrigué.

CAPUCHAS started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Carracido - Johannesen, van de Westeringh, Solheim - Herrera, Skeppar, Egaña, Enatorriaga, Sebastião - Pilblad, Reuss-Hennschen.

V. Bielsa was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Belloto's J. Křičenský managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 1 - 0 A cross coming in on the right hand side left C. Enatorriaga alone in front of the goal after 25 minutes but his shot was woeful. A counterattack by CAPUCHAS after 30 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but A. van de Westeringh, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. J. Křičenský should probably have put his team up another goal after 33 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by B. Carracido kept the visitors in the game. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Belloto, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Belloto's F. Iršič got himself booked for a foul. C. Enatorriaga of CAPUCHAS had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. M. Barcoj came in to finish the match. J. Garrigué had a fantastic opportunity to put Belloto up another goal 69 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. CAPUCHAS managed, after 77 minutes, to even the score at 1 - 1 with a lucky free kick by V. Solheim. Somehow the ball squirmed its way through the defensive wall! With 77 minutes gone, Belloto's F. Iršič had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. A well placed corner kick from V. Solheim was followed by M. Sebastião's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for CAPUCHAS, the score now 1 - 2. After 82 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed I. Reuss-Hennschen to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. The referee showed CAPUCHAS's V. Solheim the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. CAPUCHAS had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

M. Beilin performed admirably for Belloto. On the other hand, H. Aldea's play was disheartening. The most dominating CAPUCHAS player was without a doubt J. Pilblad. M. Barcoj was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
