Atlys were relying on their ability to counter-attack. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 11 minutes into the match, and V. Chorroco wasn't about to let it go by. NR F.C's J. Himanka was shown a yellow card after 40 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Atlys were forced into a substitution as M. Gianello couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing J. Lagarrigue to come in off the bench. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to NR F.C, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

The home crowd cheered when, after 49 minutes, E. Zambartas's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 51 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed O. Poblete to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. The bench was restless, and with 58 minutes passed Atlys's coach gave C. Gallo the opportunity the player had been hoping for. R. Barrera reluctantly left the field. The home crowd was not impressed when V. Chorroco came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 60 minutes. NR F.C were now up 1 - 5. By then V. Chorroco had scored three goals - a hat trick! A. Frédéric increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 6. After this, you could see that the players of NR F.C were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. G. Muralt behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 72 minutes as he gave the ball away to O. Grieger. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Some fine movement on the left led to a NR F.C goal after 75 minutes, making it 1 - 7. O. Grieger was noted down as the scorer. NR F.C had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

The most dominating Atlys player was without a doubt C. Beutelrock. However, J. Lagarrigue made a disastrous appearance. NR F.C's best player was R. Ansaldo. On the other hand, P. Lawrence's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 7.
