Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 23208 at NORTHEAST BOWL today. Mattia Menichetti was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Boris Grajciarík and Arend Verver. Titanic3 started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Starters: Robinson - Marazza, Tirana, Mporelis, Maçi - Leben, Kabanen, Aliti, Flotow, Bruggemann - McHugh.

A 5-3-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Tallyids!. The following players took the field: Juma - Dimitrijević, Lafolie, Hanusz, Vieille, Seghieri - Eagles, Pérez del Río, Micallef - Lifer, Mccracken.

It was an obvious ambition of Titanic3 to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Tallyids! clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Tallyids! played a good counterattacking move down the left 13 minutes into the match, with M. Mccracken finishing well for 0 - 1. M. Flotow sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from S. McHugh after 15 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1. After 32 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Tallyids! on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by T. Lifer to make it 1 - 2. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Titanic3, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

Tallyids! increased their lead after 55 minutes when M. Mccracken broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. D. Micallef received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 61 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 4. The Tallyids! fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 69 minutes Tallyids! tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, M. Mccracken's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. With 77 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Tallyids! resulted in a counterattack that set M. Mccracken free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

R. Mporelis performed admirably for Titanic3. However, J. Robinson made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Tallyids! player was without a doubt T. Lifer. C. Seghieri turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
