The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that BYA had solid organisation. Slack defending gave BYA a chance to take the lead with 55 minutes played, but Y. Fousias's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. Elevation's K. Muschel got himself booked for a foul. A loud groan was heard from the fans of BYA, as V. Bửu Lân left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. D. Garastegui took his place on the field. 62 minutes in, BYA appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 80 minutes allowed F. Benner to score for Elevation. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. It was a bad day for the usually speedy J. van den Eijnde. The mud seemed to slow him down. After the ball was lifted in from the left, K. Mårtensson was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 87 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. After 88 minutes BYA tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, G. Tinuper's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Elevation's F. Benner was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 88 minutes. Elevation enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

J. van den Eijnde performed admirably for BYA. D. Garastegui on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Elevation player was without a doubt L. Pannekoek. On the other hand, F. Benner's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 1.
