Broggini was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for CFR. 0 - 1. M. Lampaert came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over N. Constantinescu but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, J. Azoca got himself booked. The manager of dinamo_boys was not happy. dinamo_boys played a good counterattacking move down the left 41 minutes into the match, with P. Fagerquist finishing well for 1 - 1. CFR were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. CFR had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 41 minutes in when J. Flórez came up alone against N. Constantinescu who managed a block. 42 minutes in, dinamo_boys's D. Imbrescu received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. P. Fagerquist of dinamo_boys displayed some of his fantastic technical abilities when he brought the ball down neatly using his instep before nutmegging the bewildered M. Lampaert and smashing an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper to make it 2 - 1. It was 2 - 1 at the break. CFR enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

dinamo_boys put in a good effort on the right, but B. Arzúa saw his volley fly wide of the mark 73 minutes into the game. With 81 minutes played, B. Rusp came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by CFR. After 82 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and P. Fagerquist gave the dinamo_boys supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. At that, P. Fagerquist was noted down for a hat trick! Confident in their lead, dinamo_boys's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 86 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving M. Lampaert completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by CFR, with 61 percent of the ball.

The most dominating dinamo_boys player was without a doubt R. Xuncal. On the other hand, P. Fagerquist's play was disheartening. J. Flórez performed admirably for CFR. B. Rusp turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
