The 35019 fans in attendance at Wings of Temptation Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Felix Möbius was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gonçalo Andrade and Conny Öhall. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to H. Lindgren, but the Temptation player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! 25 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as M. Corti broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Temptation. Victoria's R. Kieffer was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 27 minutes. With 32 minutes played, M. Corti could have brought this one home for Temptation as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Temptation solidified their lead at the 35 minute mark, as J. Muri dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Temptation, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

The bench was restless, and with 50 minutes passed Victoria's coach gave P. Lacina the opportunity the player had been hoping for. D. Schenckenberg reluctantly left the field. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Victoria's M. Gunnarsson was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 50 minutes. F. Storchi was given a chance to change things around. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, G. Derkach took over the role of being the Victoria captain. Temptation increased the lead as J. Muri struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Temptation lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. L. Japonês found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. With 68 minutes played, Temptation's R. Bernier almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Temptation's M. Borràs got himself booked for a foul. Usually a powerful player on the field, P. Lacina looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. The visitors replied 82 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 4 - 1, as P. Lacina dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. 84 minutes into the game, M. Corti had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came S. Parascandola. A great save by keeper J. Szafran after 85 minutes kept the visitors in the game after R. Bernier struck from the left with a real cannonball. The guests got an opportunity to reduce after 86 minutes and G. Derkach took it from the penalty spot, scoring easily for 4 - 2. Temptation enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating Temptation player was without a doubt M. Borràs. A. Lehtoranta turned in a dismal performance, however. Victoria's best player was C. Riveros. G. Derkach on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
