Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and DANCE STAGE saw a crowd turnout of 1961. Tuomas Nironen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Noah Classen and Niall Seger. Fistologists saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Today, Wegian's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. A. Havik had a good try after 2 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Players in Wegian heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. The guests almost went up by a goal after 28 minutes when O. Hoddevik came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 33 minutes into the match left Wegian's A. Havik completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 39 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, K. Hellenes needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 42 minutes into the match, an alert L. Lamour bagged the ball for Fistologists, levelling the score to 1 - 1. Fistologists's A. Leuro left the field after 43 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was G. Pichlmeier. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Wegian, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

The visitors grabbed the lead after K. Karlstad's free kick succeeded, resulting in a score of 1 - 2. H. Geiger-Trippmacher could have scored for Fistologists with his free kick after 62 minutes, but the visitors' keeper just managed to get a hand on it. B. Knutsen of Fistologists was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The coach of Wegian was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 69 minutes, S. Engelsen came on for K. Strand. Wegian increased their lead after 78 minutes when A. Havik broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 83 minutes, Wegian's S. Engelsen fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! After 85 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed K. Karlstad to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Wegian lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. K. Hellenes of Wegian received a yellow card after 88 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

Fistologists's best player was A. Almeida. G. Citelli turned in a dismal performance, however. Wegian's top performer was clearly E. Perri. A. Østerbø on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
