Bert wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 28 minutes into the game, Gamera worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. J. Ravera came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over L. Wern but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, V. Sycz got himself booked. The manager of DIAVOLI was not happy. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Gamera had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed DIAVOLI's coach gave E. Niederlehme the opportunity the player had been hoping for. P. Panaseth reluctantly left the field. DIAVOLI needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes V. Sycz made way for G. Giordanengo. J. Nazaré was handed the DIAVOLI captain's armband. Wern refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 75 minutes. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

DIAVOLI's top performer was clearly V. Purokuru. T. Ledermueller on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Gamera player was without a doubt O. Freuler. Y. Uzan turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
