Always quick on his feet, KOPTEH's T. Ewen sped down the field after 7 minutes, but his pass to T. Collrepp was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Sanjo played a good counterattacking move down the left 12 minutes into the match, with H. Bardill finishing well for 0 - 1. KOPTEH's J. Cárdenas put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 17 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Sanjo took the lead 30 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. H. Bardill was the scorer. The visitors added to their lead 33 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Sanjo's H. Bardill slid just past the home keeper. 1 - 3. At that, H. Bardill was noted down for a hat trick! In an effort to secure the lead, Sanjo changed their tactic after 34 minutes. KOPTEH didn't give in and with 38 minutes played T. Ewen was able to make the score 2 - 3 after an attack on the right. 2 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to KOPTEH, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

After 64 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. Bruineman to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 2 - 4. After the ball was lifted in from the left, S. Lorentzen was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 65 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The visitors' A. Homann took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 75 minutes into the match. 2 - 5 for Sanjo. With 86 minutes played, T. Jokinen was very close to reducing the score for KOPTEH with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. S. Lorentzen left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. S. Jovic was the replacement. Sanjo had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

T. Collrepp performed admirably for KOPTEH. M. Aldasoro was a disappointment, however. Sanjo's best player was H. Bardill. On the other hand, C. Verbeke's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 5.
