With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 29 minutes gave PECNA a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and S. Fuhl stepped up to the challenge. 2 - 2 TJ HL's R. Gyurkovics was shown a yellow card after 34 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. PECNA had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

PECNA had a good opportunity to take the lead as S. Kubała came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of O. Víbošťok. PECNA broke through on the left 61 minutes into the game, with C. Fazzari firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 3 - 2 lead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G.
