Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Rottilerro Stadium saw a crowd turnout of 1810.
Daniel Fussenegger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
郝 (Hao) 宝泯 (Baomin) and
Miguel Azurmendi.
Rottilerro had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Grigorescu - Gradea, Burcã, Avilés - Golbach, Nicolai, Boncz, Pele, Iliescu - Popescu, Banu.
All-Stars started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Grabher - Kolm, Feil, Nowowiejski - Trinkmann, Hanrieder, Duerr, Cancio, Krixen - Göhner, Rondou.
V. Gradea of Rottilerro received a yellow card after 12 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
All-Stars's
H. Trinkmann gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 14 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
The crowd chanted their encouragement as Rottilerro's
D. Pele came in from the right after 23 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1.
All-Stars's
A. Feil got himself booked for a foul.
Rottilerro's
A. Iliescu made use of his speed to get free of the defence, but he still couldn't get a shot off 38 minutes into the match.
V. Nicolai received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 41 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1.
All-Stars claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.
Rottilerro made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
S. Popescu completely alone with keeper
H. Grabher, who made a spectacular block.
69 minutes in, All-Stars's
J. Nowowiejski received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by
F. Golbach after 70 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. Rottilerro takes the lead, 2 - 1!
After 74 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after
M. Hanrieder made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2.
Possession in this half belonged to All-Stars, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.
The most dominating Rottilerro player was without a doubt
F. Golbach.
On the other hand,
D. Pele's play was disheartening.
M. Hanrieder performed admirably for All-Stars.
H. Grabher turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 2.
