2198 punters turned up at
stade du 10 Juillet, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Alessandro Bragadini was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Otokar Ernest and
Rafael Costa.
Keina decided to use a 2-5-3 set up.
They fielded: Chammem - Jouve, Dinis - Bošković, Morel, Mouchel, Batard, van Velde - Grönqvist, Inclimona, Kilpatrick.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Füller.
Lineup: Smetana - Carnicero, Naranjo, Gahan - Obradović, Buenavista, Garmendia, Necoechea, Carrillo - Galichet, Campos-Molinas.
Füller demonstrated their creative tactics on the field.
Keina took the lead after 5 minutes as a result of
M. Mouchel's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0.
M. Mouchel struck a 30 metre free kick home 9 minutes into the match. 2 - 0 for the home team.
After 16 minutes Füller's
R. Naranjo contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
Keina put themselves up 3 - 0 when
G. Inclimona broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
After this, you could see that the players of Keina were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
A. van Velde should probably have put his team up another goal after 39 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
G. Smetana kept the visitors in the game.
40 minutes into the game, Füller seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
weak level of organisation.
3 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Keina had most of the ball, with 79 percent of possession.
The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Füller had
solid organisation.
Füller needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes
P. Gahan made way for
L. Zyra.
J. Dinis left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
A. Guillaud was the replacement.
Keina's
M. Mouchel increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 66 minutes.
That made three goals for
M. Mouchel and he was marked down for the hat trick.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Keina to 5 - 0 as
J. Kilpatrick finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
With 72 minutes played,
N. Jouve of Keina fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Keina scored another to make it 6 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
M. Mouchel after 77 minutes.
The referee showed Füller's
S. Galichet the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
81 minutes into the game, Füller seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
passable.
After 84 minutes,
N. Jouve put Keina ahead 7 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Keina, with 78 percent of the ball.
Keina's top performer was clearly
G. Morel.
J. Kilpatrick turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important Füller player was
S. Garmendia.
L. Zyra on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 7 - 0.
