Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 2500 at le Velodrome today. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Teate89. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 10 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from L. Decamps, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Aulnay solidified their lead at the 11 minute mark, as N. Dupuis dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Teate89 had to manage with a reduced squad after 12 minutes, as M. Cusin got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. G. Valea increased the lead for Aulnay to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! With 25 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Teate89 showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when C. Trudu got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, R. Volonnino had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came D. Spicola. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Aulnay enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

With 47 minutes played, the Teate89 coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. P. Benvegnù came on, J. Garofoli had to leave the fray. The Teate89 captaincy was handed to M. Vogelenzang. Aulnay put themselves up 4 - 1 when O. Yaseen broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The players of Aulnay now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Teate89's N. Tinelli tried his best to narrow the score with a well placed free kick, but it wasn't quite good enough and P. Vérot managed to block the shot. X. Miton showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing Teate89's M. Vogelenzang to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 4 - 2. With 58 minutes played, C. Antinoro had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Aulnay's F. Lecocq increasing the lead to 5 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Aulnay, with 58 percent of the ball.

Aulnay's top performer was clearly S. Justsen. P. Vérot on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Teate89 player was without a doubt M. Vogelenzang. On the other hand, R. Halleux's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 2.
