The visitors' E. Mallegni took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 38 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Slatapers. It might be a while before the fans see Slatapers's M. Longone again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 39 minute mark. He was replaced by G. Sturniolo. T. Técher did everything he could to get one back for his pLaSTiC, but keeper J. Dubois denied him with a spectacular block. It was obvious that Slatapers had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. J. Ķīlis got a fingertip on G. Sturniolo's shot from the left 43 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The referee showed Slatapers's E. Pandori the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. pLaSTiC claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

53 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as G. Perego finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After this, you could see that the players of Slatapers were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. B. Valbjørn wanted to play on, but the Slatapers coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 57 minutes into the game by B. Zangrossi. pLaSTiC's M. Grange cut towards the middle after 60 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 3. After 64 minutes Slatapers's G. Sturniolo limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The coach of Slatapers was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 66 minutes, F. Šiuperis came on for K. Dalsgård. 76 minutes in, Slatapers's G. Perego received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
