Mauntz almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. L. Fischer of zdzichy received a yellow card after 3 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. capilna took the lead after 14 minutes as a result of D. Paşcu's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. After 15 minutes capilna's N. Mauntz limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 16 minutes, D. Paşcu put capilna ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 24 minutes into the match, zdzichy replied and reduced the lead to 2 - 1. B. Kalina scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. After 29 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as zdzichy found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by capilna, with 66 percent of the ball.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of zdzichy was able to get his message across, and raised zdzichy's organisation to solid. A. Page increased the lead for capilna to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! 56 minutes in, capilna appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. L. Fischer remonstrated furiously with the referee after zdzichy had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch. With 78 minutes played, J. Sirola had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. Coming from the right, G. Kis almost managed to score another goal for capilna, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. 81 minutes into the game, zdzichy seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. zdzichy fought on and, after 85 minutes, B. Kalina was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 2 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. 87 minutes into the game, zdzichy had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. After 88 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after J. Sirola made it through the middle and struck home to make it 3 - 3. capilna enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

The most dominating capilna player was without a doubt J. Fuchs. P. van Binsbergen on the other hand, had a terrible day. zdzichy's top performer was clearly J. Sirola. On the other hand, J. Despujol's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 3.
