previous 7/10 next 9/10  Nemos 0 - 1 TSV GM (379868645)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2682 had shown up at Nemos Campus for the match. Mark Hämmerle was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Balionis Dzekevičius and Matti Leskelä. Nemos started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players took the field: Arra - Minni, Láiz, Skogblad, La Verghetta - Romantini, Gianangeli, Tremolada, Panti, Candelli - Panchini.

TSV GM decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. Lineup: Wangenheim - Bednarek, Ammerer - van Oostenrijk, Rønn, Ardalanfar, Goergen, Hons - Simeonov, Camaro, Sağun.

A. Bednarek had a good try after 12 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Making his way up the middle 23 minutes into the match, B. Tremolada almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert W. Wangenheim blocked it to keep the score level. 28 minutes into the game, TSV GM's K. Ardalanfar missed an opportunity to score the leading goal from a penalty when he delivered the shot straight into the keeper's hands. 29 minutes into the match Nemos's P. Romantini head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. A. Bednarek came close to putting the visiting team one up 34 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but G. Arra managed to tip the ball to a corner. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to TSV GM, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when L. Camaro slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against G. Arra, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. 67 minutes into the game, S. Sağun had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. The referee showed TSV GM's L. Camaro the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. M. La Verghetta of Nemos had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. K. Lehocký came in to finish the match. 83 minutes into the game, L. Camaro almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After 86 minutes, TSV GM put themselves up 0 - 1, as S. Sağun finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. TSV GM had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

E. Láiz performed admirably for Nemos. P. Minni was a disappointment, however. Most important TSV GM player was S. Goergen. L. Ammerer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 1.
