The 1854 fans in attendance at Corellia FC Arena were roasting in the hot sun. François Jamin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jens Thum and Ángel Burgos. After a fine move down the middle M. Tama nearly gave the home side a goal after 24 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. After 25 minutes of play, D. Forchir gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Corellia's P. Kalogeratos got himself booked for a foul. P. Kalogeratos's lack of experience almost gave Strümp a goal after 35 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Corellia's P. Alfarano was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Strümp's counterattacks created a good chance for M. Vilarinho on the right after 44 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Sturzenegger from Strümp a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 44 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! G. Koukoulopoulos increased the lead for Corellia to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The players of Corellia now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 44 minutes, M. Tama put Corellia ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Corellia claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

The coach of Corellia was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, E. Fejles came on for P. Steger. Usually a powerful player on the field, A. Radmilović looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. A. Consol was called on to replace Corellia's M. Tama after 56 minutes following a nasty collision. F. Nipoti wanted to play on, but the Corellia coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by P. Thut. Corellia put themselves up 4 - 0 when G. Koukoulopoulos broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Corellia had most of the ball, with 87 percent of possession.

Corellia's best player was D. Forchir. However, F. Cristicchi made a disastrous appearance. Strümp's top performer was clearly K. Finckenstein. On the other hand, A. Nockeritz's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 0.
