Picaza's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Flament scored for Lugar putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 7 minutes. A great save by keeper M. Betzwieser after 8 minutes kept the visitors in the game after G. Ikhsanov struck from the left with a real cannonball. Tratkari had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. The visitors' L. Ostermann was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 11 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Lugar, with 53 percent of the ball.

C. Candal had a good try after 47 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Tratkari's V. Ursu showed off his trademark ability to do the unexpected with a tricky pass after 75 minutes. Unfortunately, C. Leca was startled by the play and wasn't able to control the finish. Lugar had a good opportunity to take the lead as A. Dekkers came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of M. Betzwieser. Making his way up the middle 80 minutes into the match, B. Salvat almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert M. Betzwieser blocked it to keep the score level. The referee showed Lugar's B. Salvat the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Lugar had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Lugar's top performer was clearly M. Solar. M. Flament turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Tratkari player was without a doubt L. Ostermann. C. Leca on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
