A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 12000 to
Arena Trnava.
Nicolai Linneberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jonas Rodflod and
Jean Petillon.
Grupen started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Tešedík - Rehák, Dunajka, Kuleša, Modravý - Hališčák, Záleš, Jastraban, Bradiak - Molnár, Posta.
Debrődiek had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Starters: Zumbo - Duyndam, Gregor, Foldager - Soto Campo, Iazzetta, Ovečka, Paccassoni, Ion - Muhtar, Brenker.
Debrődiek took the lead 9 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle.

After 87 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
G. Toledo who increased Debrődiek's lead to 0 - 10.
The home crowd was not impressed when
G. Duyndam came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 88 minutes. Debrődiek were now up 0 - 11.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Debrődiek, with 89 percent of the ball.
Grupen's best player was
O. Molnár.
E. Posta was a disappointment, however.
G. Ovečka performed admirably for Debrődiek.
However,
G. Toledo made a disastrous appearance.
