Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at Porta Elisa today. Rolf de Jager was the appointed referee with assistance provided by António Passos and Amadee Graser. LuccaDomina decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Liedekerke - Almerberg, Eggli, Vigo - Sølvhøj, Burdi, Campbell, Darchinger, Benam - Navarro Ros, van Gastel.

Chiangone started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Corsetti - Agraït, Jonsansoro, Firyabi - Di Stefano, Chiesi, Berretti, Sossio, Sala - Lujambio, Patris.

31 minutes into the game, N. Firyabi almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After 33 minutes Chiangone's F. Chiesi contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The guests took the lead 34 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in F. Di Stefano scoring to make it 0 - 1. After 41 minutes, Chiangone's M. Jonsansoro fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Chiangone had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

C. Lujambio stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Chiangone the goal to make it 0 - 2. D. Patris came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over O. Liedekerke but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Some fine movement on the left led to a Chiangone goal after 76 minutes, making it 0 - 3. D. Patris was noted down as the scorer. By now, the players in Chiangone felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 80 minutes into the match Chiangone's F. Chiesi head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by LuccaDomina, with 53 percent of the ball.

Most important LuccaDomina player was J. Navarro Ros. However, T. Sølvhøj made a disastrous appearance. P. Berretti performed admirably for Chiangone. N. Firyabi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
