M. Cioroianu had a fantastic opportunity to put Steelers up another goal 76 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
After 77 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
I. Marcu might have resulted in another goal for Steelers. However,
D. Lupea made a spectacular save.
The Steelers players could smell victory in the air.
E. Niţu wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
N. Aaby after 83 minutes.
The coach of Steelers was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 85 minutes,
D. Tutunea came on for
I. Marcu.
Steelers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
Steelers's best player was
G. Abrain.
D. Tutunea turned in a dismal performance, however.
R. Rusu performed admirably for Apullum.
D. Teodorescu on the other hand, had a terrible day.
