Clear skies welcomed the 46189 spectators who had made their way to JUNGLE'S Arena. Crispin Kiser was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Staszek Downarowicz and Preben Hvalsøe Schou. Agaricii's M. Cristea had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. After 22 minutes, MONKEY2000 raised their score by one when M. Šego's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by D. Rotter. 1 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as MONKEY2000 scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for D. Rotter after 23 minutes. Agaricii managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as R. Vasile finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence. R. Vasile finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 36 minutes into the match. I. Ghiţă gave the visitors the lead 38 minutes into the match to make it 2 - 3. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area. 2 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by MONKEY2000, with 51 percent of the ball.

Given a free kick close to the byline, MONKEY2000 tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let D. Rotter slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 3 - 3, 52 minutes into the game. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for D. Rotter. With the match clock at 61 minutes, Agaricii modified their style of play a little bit. After 61 minutes, the Agaricii coach had a quick word about the tactical set-up and decided to try another approach. 65 minutes into the game, MONKEY2000 seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. MONKEY2000 broke through on the left 72 minutes into the game, with O. Lavrentyev firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 4 - 3 lead. The Agaricii free kick 74 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of C. Cotoi, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 4 - 4! MONKEY2000 could have put themselves ahead after 78 minutes but A. Popescu missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

Most important MONKEY2000 player was C. Lăzărescu. On the other hand, M. Soare's play was disheartening. The most dominating Agaricii player was without a doubt C. Cotoi. M. Iordache on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 4.
