Clear skies welcomed the 17311 spectators who had made their way to Teatrul Absurdului. Yehuda Ratzon was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Wolfgang Mencher and Juan Luculampa. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. A foul called during a L-P-P counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but M. Kalandra's shot rattled off the post. C. Sârbu of Moartea received a yellow card after 33 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Moartea had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

The home crowd was not impressed when Q. Aeberhard came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 47 minutes. Moartea were now up 0 - 2. Some fine movement on the left led to a Moartea goal after 67 minutes, making it 0 - 3. C. Montevecchi was noted down as the scorer. With 73 minutes played, M. Vanharanta of Moartea fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. N. Marín Pérez received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Moartea fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After this, you could see that the players of Moartea were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. L-P-P's D. Rusen refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 82 minutes. After 85 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave C. Sârbu a chance to increase the lead for Moartea, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Moartea, with 65 percent of the ball.

L-P-P's top performer was clearly P. Chevaux. However, M. Kalandra made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Moartea player was without a doubt V. Huittinen. On the other hand, G. Bude's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
