Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at Stadion Na Litavce today. Ulf Godgren was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Pantaleo Pozzoli and Gilberto Betschart. Příbram started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Váchal - Chmelík, Pechal, Renthe-Fink, Voráček - Ernest, Kuba, Hrubeš, Paleček - Čtvrtečka, Zaťko.

O. Váchal looked great 4 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' G. Gripenberg. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 6 minutes into the match, and G. Gripenberg wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The home crowd cheered when, after 14 minutes, G. Bruls's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. K. Levniz of SKKB was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. K. Rohlfsen increased SKKB's lead to 0 - 2 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. Some fine movement on the left led to a SKKB goal after 42 minutes, making it 0 - 3. K. Rohlfsen was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 3. SKKB enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 87 percent of possession.

S. Anfosso increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. By now, the players in SKKB felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 62 minutes, Příbram's K. Paleček fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! A well placed corner kick from D. Chmelík was followed by P. Pechal's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Příbram, the score now 1 - 4. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by SKKB's K. Rohlfsen put the visitors up 1 - 5 after 79 minutes. This third goal completed a hattrick for K. Rohlfsen. After 81 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for G. Gripenberg who increased SKKB's lead to 1 - 6. With 82 minutes played, SKKB put themselves up 1 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was G. Gripenberg. At that, G. Gripenberg was noted down for a hat trick! G. Gripenberg of SKKB took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 84 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 8. As D. Chmelík had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Příbram player a red card without batting an eyelid. SKKB claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 89 percent.

Příbram's top performer was clearly V. Čtvrtečka. On the other hand, O. Váchal's play was disheartening. The most dominating SKKB player was without a doubt F. Vaquero. S. Anfosso turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 8.
