Page, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. R. Celentano of Aston received a yellow card after 24 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Aston's A. Pentassuglia got himself booked for a foul. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Broncosauri to 3 - 0 as M. Dzierzbicki finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 38 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Feszler gave the Broncosauri supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0. After 39 minutes Aston's S. Strambini contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Broncosauri, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

A well-executed free kick by E. Korpus after 57 minutes made it 5 - 0 for Broncosauri. The head of E. Del Fabro connected with a corner kick after 58 minutes, and the ball ended up with M. Lofano of Aston who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 5 - 1. After 60 minutes, C. Page put Broncosauri ahead 6 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Broncosauri lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 64 minutes into the game Aston managed a counterattack, but E. Del Fabro took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. Broncosauri had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. The Broncosauri players could smell victory in the air. C. Page wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for B. Dimov after 76 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Broncosauri coach let D. Ramírez replace G. Fafara after 76 minutes. E. Korpus left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 81 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Caputo was the replacement. Broncosauri claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.

Broncosauri's best player was J. Feszler. B. Dimov turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Aston player was P. Musarella. On the other hand, E. Del Fabro's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 1.
