Piraino increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Valsabbia's D. Lessgewang struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 5 - 0 after 31 minutes. Confident in their lead, Valsabbia's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 36 minutes played, Valsabbia put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Volpicelli, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. 6 - 0 was the halftime score.
