TUMINA tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Today, TUMINA's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. For their match strategy, Dominacija had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. L. Kaplan enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. With the clock showing 9 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Dominacija resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by T. Hinteregger in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Hinteregger from Dominacija a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 22 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! M. Miljuš came close to putting the visiting team one up 24 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but M. Tóth managed to tip the ball to a corner. TUMINA created a good opportunity to score 31 minutes into the match when A. Balboni's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. TUMINA's Ž. Žuklevičius was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. M. Miljuš of Dominacija had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. I. Jovanović came in to finish the match. J. Ormåsen was the new captain of Dominacija - handed the armband by the departing player. 41 minutes into the game, B. Schimmeier almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. TUMINA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

TUMINA were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 53 minutes, U. Ohlbeck came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving TUMINA the lead. U. Ohlbeck left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 62 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Lauria was the replacement. M. Božić wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. With 74 minutes played, the Dominacija coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. C. Cardinal came on, B. Schimmeier had to leave the fray. The visitors didn't give in and, after 77 minutes, L. Sattrup got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. It was obvious that TUMINA had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 81 minutes played C. Cirne almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Dominacija had to make a substitution after 82 minutes. I. Kostadinov limped off the field and was replaced by A. Dragutinović. TUMINA had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

TUMINA's best player was L. Kaplan. M. Božić turned in a dismal performance, however. Dominacija's top performer was clearly J. Cobo del Rosal. A. Dragutinović was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
