The 7000 fans in attendance at Banja Luka Dome were roasting in the hot sun. Amadeusz Skubacz was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Aaron Josua Frosch and Romain Gabriel. Parra came in to finish the match. After 42 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for E. Pinheiro who increased FCS's lead to 0 - 2. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FCS, with 69 percent of the ball.

With 48 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed N. Parra of FCS to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. R. Lupu increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of FCS lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. B. Kiszi wanted to play on, but the FCS coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 65 minutes into the game by G. Mansard. R. Lupu received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 70 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The FCS fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. With 76 minutes played, FCS put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was N. Parra. Possession in this half belonged to FCS, who controlled the ball 72 percent of the time.

D. Sonjic performed admirably for Banja. A. Skiljo was a disappointment, however. The most dominating FCS player was without a doubt E. Pinheiro. A. Martins Ribeiro on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 6.
