Genialos mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. V. Mandelc of Genialos received a yellow card after 27 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Genialos had a chance to take the lead after D. Thorpe's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 29 minutes. It was obvious that team Genialos had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to J. Cigale, but the Genialos player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Perkmandlc's Y. Benard got himself booked for a foul. A cross coming in on the right hand side left S. Stoeffler alone in front of the goal after 42 minutes but his shot was woeful. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Genialos claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Genialos's L. Bernat increasing the lead to 2 - 0. L. Bernat's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert G. Comito was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Genialos. 3 - 0. G. Comito had a fantastic opportunity to put Genialos up another goal 76 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Genialos had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Most important Genialos player was G. Comito. D. Troch turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Perkmandlc player was without a doubt G. van Rossum. Ž. Zadnjik was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
