This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when M. Díaz slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against M. Haddad, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. P. Vilardebò caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 64 minutes. This gave botafumeiru the 2 - 1 lead. A. Stoyanov finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 79 minutes into the match.
