Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Cantabria was able to get his message across, and raised Cantabria's organisation to excellent. Luz-Saint's X. Grabalós made a successful breakthrough on the left after 59 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. Cantabria's J. Huibers got himself booked for a foul. After 78 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed K. Endam to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. E. Roselló did everything he could to get one back for his Luz-Saint, but keeper J. Jeger denied him with a spectacular block. A counterattack by Cantabria after 80 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but O. Feragen, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. At 82 minutes into the game, Luz-Saint's X. Grabalós deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 3. Luz-Saint enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

Luz-Saint's best player was E. Roselló. Ó. Frau Silvestre on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Cantabria player was A. Morillo. On the other hand, G. Poggi's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 3.
