McFadden stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Kilmarnock the goal to make it 0 - 2. The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when V. Kranzl tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. S. Buriánek was too alert for that! Uniteds had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

Most important Uniteds player was B. Schauerhammer. L. Núñez on the other hand, had a terrible day. Kilmarnock's top performer was clearly F. Pico. However, J. Planelles made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
