Ucieda 3 - 2 Frábrica
(383163715)

16-06-2012 15.40
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 11394 to
Ucieda Arena.
Cvetko Lukovšek was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Julio Mayol and
Luis Kindelan.
The derby had been the talk of
Extremadura all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium.
Ucieda tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Arana - Ljunger, Marciano, Królicki - Arrebola, Cererols, Centellas, Galarie, Zenati - Üzeyir, Faria.
Frábrica decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Urritegi - Belmonte, Arenas, Denia, Fons - San Juan, Esmir, Sanmartí, Cabrejas - Dinkov, Reguant.
Ucieda saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
Ucieda had a chance to take the lead after
I. Królicki's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 6 minutes.
They were singing the praises of
P. Cererols 9 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Ucieda.
After 19 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Ucieda was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
The visiting team's
J. Belmonte was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 23 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right.
Frábrica's
F. San Juan got himself booked for a foul.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 27 minute mark, Frábrica's
I. Arenas hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
36 minutes in, Ucieda's
A. Centellas received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
The player down was
I. Dinkov. The Frábrica bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up.
1 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ucieda, with 64 percent of the ball.
The terraces were silenced after 52 minutes when Frábrica's
I. Dinkov put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
S. Ljunger from Ucieda a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Players in Ucieda heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
56 minutes in, and Ucieda were able to score the equalising goal to make it 2 - 2 when
J. Faria picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper.
Ö. Üzeyir caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 72 minutes. This gave Ucieda the 3 - 2 lead.
Ucieda enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.
Ucieda's best player was
P. Cererols.
However,
L. Marciano made a disastrous appearance.
Most important Frábrica player was
R. Esmir.
I. Arenas turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 2.
