(384442879)

21-07-2012 18.15
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at
Bolzplatz Walbeck for the match.
Johan Belting was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gonçalo das Neves and
Ulf Taunus.
Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this
Nordrhein-Westfalen derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents.
Walbeck had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation.
The following players took the field: Hourula - Steffensen, Tonn, Rochau, Boath - Martin, Sivertsen, Cavegn, Gianfagna, Waiben - Kotsifakis.
BBB tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Apağ - Caboń, Orszewski, Fjeler - Minati, Panguinha, Cron, Paluska, Kałaski - Szpinda, Kary.
With 4 minutes played,
J. Orszewski of BBB fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
7 minutes into the match, BBB nearly took the lead, as
B. Panguinha broke through on the right.
V. Hourula made the save, however.
After 16 minutes, the defensive line of BBB created a counterattack through the middle that gave
A. Fjeler a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
S. Kotsifakis caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 17 minutes. This gave Walbeck the 1 - 0 lead.
An equalising goal seemed certain after 19 minutes when
W. Szpinda attacked down the left wing, but
V. Hourula just managed to make a save to keep the ball out of the net.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
B. Panguinha got himself booked. The manager of BBB was not happy.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Walbeck, with 59 percent of the ball.
L. Paluska finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 68 minutes into the match.
It wasn't a pretty goal, but the free kick by
K. Waiben after 79 minutes somehow found its way past the keeper. Walbeck takes the lead, 2 - 1!
C. Minati of BBB received a yellow card after 81 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
BBB levelled the score after 87 minutes to make it 2 - 2, as
L. Paluska struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked.
After 88 minutes Walbeck's
M. Sivertsen limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
Walbeck had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.
Most important Walbeck player was
A. Cavegn.
On the other hand,
K. Waiben's play was disheartening.
M. Kary performed admirably for BBB.
However,
W. Szpinda made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 2.
