Ostbahn were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Ostbahn solidified their lead at the 36 minute mark, as Y. Jacquard dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. A. Wylęgała of 123 was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. O. Olivier stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving 123 the goal to make it 2 - 1. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Ostbahn, who controlled the ball 72 percent of the time.

Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Ostbahn, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Ostbahn's M. Pârvănescu. 76 minutes into the game, 123 had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. Ostbahn had most of the ball, with 78 percent of possession.
