6325 punters turned up at
Borussia BBQ Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Alexander Paaske Sørensen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Leon Boelt and
Jaime Corujeira.
Borussia started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Ezkerro - Perišić, Dubourg, Estel - Piribauer, Thadewaldt, Passoni, Bindreiter, Kerschbaummayer - Strilakos, Pukallus.
FP deluxe tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Villalaín - Athanasiou, Schuster, Groenewoud - Drejer, Cucchetti, Larsen, Bandura, Rogačiovas - Elçi, Sobiechowski.
Borussia were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
B. Bandura gave the visitors the lead 11 minutes into the match to make it 0 - 1. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area.
B. Bandura increased FP deluxe's lead to 0 - 2 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner.
The players of FP deluxe now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
FP deluxe's
R. Rogačiovas left the field after 35 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
K. Hayat.
The visitors'
M. Schuster took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 36 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for FP deluxe.
Halftime score was 0 - 3.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FP deluxe, with 54 percent of the ball.
As the game started to slip away for Borussia, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
The Borussia players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.
B. Bandura came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over
B. Ezkerro but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
R. Larsen received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 69 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
73 minutes into the match,
R. Larsen came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
FP deluxe claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.
Most important Borussia player was
K. Strilakos.
A. Perišić on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The most dominating FP deluxe player was without a doubt
B. Bandura.
H. Drejer turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 3.
