Sulinger were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The terraces were silenced after 37 minutes when Sulinger's T. Fontdeglòria put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Sulinger enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

The visitors' T. Fontdeglòria took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 74 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Sulinger. A marvellous Hackstadt effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 77 minutes by G. Wahner, making the score 1 - 2. Sulinger had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

C. Tecklenburg performed admirably for Hackstadt. L. Georgoulakis on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Sulinger player was L. Suszczewicz. M. Woelk was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
