Santafu had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 13 minutes in when E. Weinfurter came up alone against L. Wimpassinger who managed a block. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when S. Holschbach was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 17 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! R. Thalauer of Santafu received a yellow card after 27 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Santafu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

After 52 minutes, Santafu put themselves up 0 - 1, as E. Marburger finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Holschbach from Santafu a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 53 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 58 minutes played, Santafu put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Stransky. Raffi had a brilliant opportunity to reply as H. Fuß received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only D. Schleevogt's reflexes saved him. Santafu's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowing R. Baerwolff to score easily from the right flank for 0 - 3. 67 minutes in, Raffi's M. Möwenburg received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. R. Thalauer increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Santafu's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The referee showed Raffi's S. Buchloh the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Raffi's H. Fuß had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 77 minutes having been played. P. Vötsch was the replacement. R. Baerwolff of Santafu took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 78 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5. Santafu had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

The most dominating Raffi player was without a doubt P. Vötsch. However, D. Stössl made a disastrous appearance. M. Stransky performed admirably for Santafu. D. Schleevogt on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
