Amberg seemed to be impossibly far from the goal, but he looked up and bang! A real cracker for Frühlingthur after 21 minutes. 0 - 1. D. Amberg was, after 31 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper M. Strube made the save. C. Santana, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. With 35 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed I. Lamas of Frühlingthur to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 37 minutes into the match. D. Cigordi surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. L. Wellhöfer came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over M. Strube but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Some fine movement on the left led to a Frühlingthur goal after 41 minutes, making it 0 - 3. L. Wellhöfer was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Frühlingthur, who controlled the ball 68 percent of the time.

The home crowd was not impressed when L. Wellhöfer came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 59 minutes. Frühlingthur were now up 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Frühlingthur lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Frühlingthur came close to extending their lead as L. Wellhöfer delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 75 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. It was obvious that team Gundîyan had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Frühlingthur enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.

Gundîyan's best player was D. Paiva Leite. A. De Maria was a disappointment, however. L. Wellhöfer performed admirably for Frühlingthur. C. Bechtol on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 4.
